We pray for our new Pope LEO XIV
Join us in believing, hoping, loving, and serving through the heart of Jesus.
All are welcome to join us for prayer and ministry. Please contact the rectory office for more information about Sacred Heart Parish.
In accordance with the Diocese of Harrisburg, it is the mission of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church to share the experience of salvation received from Jesus Christ in the living Catholic tradition of Word and Sacrament, drawing all persons into a believing, hoping, loving, and serving community which, empowered by the Spirit, gives glory to the Father through Jesus, Lord and Savior. In particular, the Parish operates under the tutelage and inspiration of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, drawing all members to the heart of Christ in a spirit of conversion.
Dear Sacred Heart Parishioners,
The location of this Sunday’s Parish Picnic and Fr. Metzgar Farewell has now CHANGED. It will now be at Sacred Heart in the school gym, still 12:30 – 4:00. Food will be served from 12:30 – 2:30, with festivities starting at 1:30. There will be events for children, but the playground is currently being “reborn”. Our apologies for the inconvenience, there was a surprise event conflict at the park.
If you are planning on coming and have not yet RSVP’d, please respond to shparish@sacredheartsch.org or 717 394-0757 so we can get a final count. Many thanks to the volunteers who have come together to make this a proper and loving send off for our Fr. Metzgar.
