In accordance with the Diocese of Harrisburg, it is the mission of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church to share the experience of salvation received from Jesus Christ in the living Catholic tradition of Word and Sacrament, drawing all persons into a believing, hoping, loving, and serving community which, empowered by the Spirit, gives glory to the Father through Jesus, Lord and Savior. In particular, the Parish operates under the tutelage and inspiration of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, drawing all members to the heart of Christ in a spirit of conversion.

Holy Day Vigil Mass - 6:00 pm

- 40 Hours Eucharistic Adoration will be held Nov 26, 27, 28. Our homilist this year is Fr. Anthony Michalik, C.Ss.R.
Fr. Michalik will be preaching at the following times

Nov. 27th - 7:00 PM
Nov. 28th - 7:00 PM
Fr. Michalik is a Redemptorist priest stationed at the retreat house of San Alfonso in Long Branch, NJ. Prior to this recent assignment he was stationed at the Redemptorist Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Boston. MA. where he was actively involved in parish ministry, spiritual direction, and retreat work. For the past four years he has been regularly featured on Catholic TV offering the Novena to Our Mother of Perpetual Help followed by reflection on Scripture and Mary.
Fr. Michalik is a native of Ephrata, PA. He attended Boston College School of Theology and Ministry where he completed his formal theological study. He is most grateful for the opportunity to share this blessed time of Forty Hours Devotion at Sacred Heart.
