Introducing First Sunday Food Share - Blessing others in need

Sacred Heart’s Ecumenism Ministry is pleased to announce a new collaborative initiative with our neighbor, St. John’s Episcopal Church, at the corner of West Chestnut and North Mulberry Sts. We will be collecting non-perishable foods and personal toiletries on the First Sunday of each month, starting December 4 to contribute to St. John’s Food Pantry (open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30-3:30 PM) and their outside Community Blessing Box, which provides our underprivileged neighbors with 24/7 access to food, hygiene items, and spiritual encouragement. Please bring your donation to Mass the first weekend of the month (we’ll have a food collection area in the Narthex).
