What Is the Sacred Heart
Home Grocery Network?
The Sacred Heart Home Grocery Network (SHHGN) is a program that helps students earn tuition credit. The school purchases discount gift certificates from local merchants and resells them to school families and parishioners at face value. While 50% of the profit remains with the school, 50% goes to purchasing families in the form of tuition credit.
For example: If you buy $200 in Giant gift cards, which are discounted at a rate of 5%, the profit is $10. The school gets $5, and the family gets a $5 tuition credit. Friends and family members can buy certificates in a school family's name.
How do I purchase certificates?
Certificates are available every morning, Monday through
Friday, from 7:45 to 8:15 a.m. in the school cafeteria during the school year.
Additionally, Sacred Heart students may have your order filled at school. Certificates can also be pre-ordered
online for pickup at Saturday evening or Sunday morning Masses. Your
certificates will be ready in the narthex upon your arrival at Mass and payment
will be accepted at that time. Orders cannot be guaranteed after 5:00 pm
Thursday. Click here to begin. Certificates are also available in the rear of the church at Saturday evening and Sunday morning Masses (5:00 p.m. Saturday, 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sunday.) Summer sales are available at the same Masses. Let the salesperson know which family should receive the credit.
How do I pay for certificates?
You can pay for your purchases by cash or check, payable to "SHHGN".
