Dear Families and Friends of Sacred Heart Parish,

 

 

We are again inviting you to become a part of a unique relationship with Sacred Heart School. Our HELPING HANDS program is a business/mentor/sponsorship program, which signifies our commitment to Helping Achieve New Development for our Students. We are making this opportunity available to all families and local businesses that we know are committed to the qualities and principles, which are found within our educational environment.

 

Your $500.00 tax-deductible donation would be credited to the classroom or special education area of your choice for the upcoming school year. In recognition of your generous donation the school will provide your business or family with extensive exposure within our school, parish, and local communities. Your business or family name will be displayed in a variety of prominent ways, many of which are listed on the following pages.

 

In turn, your $500.00 donation will be used to purchase well-needed educational materials, supplement in school assemblies and other programs. We will keep you informed of the many ways your donation is used to enhance the learning environment of your designated class or learning area. You will also be invited to a variety of activities in which you may experience, first hand, the opportunities your donation has created for our students. While we welcome your involvement with all Sacred Heart School fundraising programs, given the significance of the HANDS sponsorship, we will honor your request, if you so choose, to not be contacted regarding other fundraisers. Any such requests should be directed to Sheila Hershey.

You are welcome to designate a specific classroom or learning area; otherwise, we will partner your contribution with one of the classroom or learning areas below. Selections will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. Please make your selections promptly. Contact Sheila Hershey @509-3577 with your choice. Thank You

 

CORE CURRICULUM

~One sponsorship per grade is available for K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades.

 

 

Sponsorship funds could be used for special assemblies, study kit designed to enrich an academic topic, or manipulative to enhance learning.

~To obtain more prints to use with the children to enhance the art history component of class

~Continual upgrade of collection

~Reference materials- non-fiction and fiction books -videos

~Upgrade rhythm instruments to promote rhythmic development

~Enhance musical appreciation with classics

 

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

~Purchase materials related to health and fitness, hygiene, drug and alcohol abuse

Your business or family will be recognized in our learning community for it's support in many ways.

 

Our school community consists of approx. 190 students and their families.  These families are part of the larger Sacred Heart Parish Community of over 900 families.  As a sign of our appreciation, we will provide your business/family extensive exposure to our entire community of students, family, parishioners and guests.  We are proud to recognize the leadership and generosity of our sponsors in the following manner:

 

  • Plaques displayed outside each classroom of curriculum specials area

  • A traveling sign which recognizes all of HANDS sponsors, will be displayed throughout the year at various events

  • Various communications throughout the year within out school community and the wider parish community i.e. Newsletters, bulletins, flyers
